This is the page where I'm going to just talk about whatever I feel like talking about! Likes, Dislikes, things that will let you get to know me just a little bit better |
 |
Simple pleasures that I enjoy:
1) I love getting into a bed with fresh, clean sheets just after a shower.
2) Sitting outside on the deck on a crisp fall day in a big thick sweater.
3) Doing the Hokey Pokey with the kids in the living room, that is great fun.
4) Having the house all to myself (this happens about once every 3 years) |
 |
Things I love:
1) Being a mom, although they can make me want to rip my hair out sometimes, my boys are my love and my life.
2) Bargains, whether it's from a garage sale, auction, or retail store.
3) Making webpages, I'm still just a beginner and I'm already addicted to it!
4) Good books, Pride & Prejudice is a must read and my all-time favorite, although most of the time I read suspense/thrillers
5) A good argument, not an all out fight but a really good debate. 6) All those great graphic designers who make beautiful webpage sets and let you use them for free in exchange for a link! That's a great deal, just think how different my pages would look without those sets!
7) Waterless Hand Sanitizer! This is the best invention of the century as far as I'm concerned. You can change multiple children's diapers without getting up after each one to wash your hands! Just grab the sanitizer and your set.

Things I dislike:
1) People who chew with their mouths open! Just ask my kids!
2) Most republicans, not really the person, but their ideas. 3) Rude salespeople! I do not hesitate to complain to the manager, but I don't hesitate to tell the manager about good service either. 4) Websites with music on every page. I know music can really set a mood but most of the time the music is pointless. The best example of music on a page I can think of is having Taps play on a POW/MIA/KIA page.
5) Kids running rampant on the internet. Why anyone would let any child roam the internet alone is beyond me. It's just too dangerous for that.
6) The NRA.
7) Romance novels.
8) Going to a holidays section of a graphics site and finding no 4th of July, Veterans Day, or Memorial Day graphics.
9) Comet cursors! I know I didn't have to download them either but I was also so sick of being asked to do it, I finally did!
10) Stepping on a lego with cold, bare feet!
11) Pro wrestling, South Park, & Austin Powers...they're just too stupid for words |
 |
Things I'd like to do someday when my children are older:
1) Get dressed and use the bathroom all by myself.
2) Eat my breakfast/lunch/dinner while it's still hot
3) Further my education. |
 |
More to come later when I have more time!
There's also one thing I'd really like to know, how did I go from being 18 and singing along to Def Leppard and Guns N' Roses to being 28 and singing along to Barney?? |
