This tutorial was written using PSP version 7.02 but should work with other versions.
It uses Selections which you can download HERE.
I'm assuming you have basic knowledge of the tools in PSP and the use of the layer palette.
Included in the zip is a color guide. Just use your dropper tool to select the colors.
Or chose your own!
Let's get started!

Open a new image size 350x300, transparent background.


Add a new layer named left side.
Load lside selection.
Flood fill with darker orange.
Contract selection by 2.
Flood fill with lighter orange.
Effects...Noise...Add...6% uniform.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 45
Color: the darker orange.

Deselect.


Add a new layer named right side.
Load rside selection. Follow the same procedure as for the left side:
Flood fill with darker orange.
Contract selection by 2.
Flood fill with lighter orange.
Effects...Noise...Add...6% uniform.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 45
Color: the darker orange.

Deselect.


Add a new layer named middle.
Load middle selection. Follow the same procedure as for the sides:
Flood fill with darker orange.
Contract selection by 2.
Flood fill with lighter orange.
Effects...Noise...Add...6% uniform.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 45
Color: the darker orange.

Deselect.

ON THE SAME LAYER.
Load midline selection.
Flood fill once or twice, whichever looks best to you, with the darker orange.

Deselect.


Add a new layer named leaf.
Load leaf selection.
Flood fill with darker green.
Contract selection by 2.
Flood fill with lighter green.
Effects...Noise...Add...6% uniform.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 15
Color: the darker green.

Deselect.

ON THE SAME LAYER.
Load leafline selection.
Flood fill with the darker green.

Deselect.


In your layer palette, right click on the leaf layer and hit Duplicate.
Now go to Image...Mirror.
Move over to the left.
You can always move it again once your stem is there to get it looking as you'd like.


Add a new layer named stem.
Load stem selection.
Flood fill with darker brown.
Contract selection by 2.
Flood fill with lighter brown.
Effects...Noise...Add...6% uniform.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 15
Color: the darker brown.

Deselect.


Now you can merge your layers and export as a tube! You can make what you want with your result but please do not try to make money with it!
